Mahalaxmi Mandir

Mahalaxmi temple is famous temple located on the shores of Mumbai. It was inaugurated in the year 1831 by Dakhji Dadaji.

This temple houses three Goddesses: Mahakali, Mahalaxmi and Mahasaraswati. The idols are adorned with jewels with Mahalaxmi extensively decorated. It is said that during Navratri, the idol of Mahalaxmi comes alive.

The specialty of this temple is that it has a tremendous view of the Arabian Sea. It is located near the famous Haji Ali Dargah in Worli.

The temple is of great archelogical and historical value.
